Welcome to our page created to celebrate the life of Barbara Martin. She was so wonderfully kind, truly loving and a much loved Wife, Mum, Nana and friend. 

In March 2017, completely out of the blue, Barbara was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma brain tumour. After an 18 month journey full of positive attitude, Barbara passed away in September 2018 aged 66.

Her husband of 44 years, Harold, and her two grown-up children, Gareth & Debra, have dedicated this tribute page in her memory, to help fund vital brain tumour research and development for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, yet, less than 2% of cancer research funding in the UK goes towards brain tumour research. We want to help to change these statistics and so we are fundraising for The Brain Tumour Charity. You can help us too and your kind donations will be so gratefully received.
